So here we are in May.  The ground isn’t the greatest and somewhat a little muddy.  The leaves on the trees still haven’t matured.  Patrick & Leia just wrapped up the ceremony and we’re on to pictures.  Leia has this gorgeous long dress on which hasn’t been bustled.  I make an observation of how beautiful the backdrop and lighting is but just wished the walk there wasn’t so muddy.  As I turn around Leia has already started walking towards the location I just mentioned tiptoeing through the mud with her heels digging into the ground and her hands holding the dress just high enough so she’s able to walk.  Not a care in the world if the dress gets a little dirty.  The dress could rip in half and Leia would still have that same smile on her face.  I turn to Patrick and I see the biggest smile on his face as in “I just one the lottery kind of smile” and I realized this is what weddings are all about.  I can honestly say that I was overwhelmed with the love, joy, kindness and calmness Patrick and Leia gave and received and that May 17, 2014 was the best day of their lives!  LOVE!
